Founder & Lead Designer, BID
Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to check out my website. My name is Siobhan (pronounced Sha-vonne) and I am a designer located on the Northern Bruce Peninsula. I graduated from Fanshawe College’s Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) program in 2018 and was the recipient of the Design Matrix Inc. Excellence in Accessibility and Design for All Award, as well as the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario Contribution and Commitment to the Profession Award.
I worked for two years in London Ontario at Cornerstone Architecture Inc. as their in-house designer during which time I was involved in educational, community, long-term healthcare and hospitality projects. I have experience in building and maintaining material libraries and meeting with manufacturing company representatives who create and provide products to the design and architecture industry. I enjoy all types of projects but absolutely love getting involved in ventures that help better our beautiful community and foster inclusivity, all while helping to protect the environment.
I care about connection, collaboration and creativity and I am extremely passionate about sustainable and ethical design decisions and reducing the impact my services have on the environment. No matter the project, my desire is to create connection to nature and celebrate materials, while striving to cultivate spaces that celebrate life, ignite stories and invoke positive feelings. It is always my aim to elevate spaces so that they function well and are timeless.
If I’m not designing I am probably reading, practicing visual arts, writing and spending time outdoors in this beautiful area of Ontario, Canada.
